Pratibha Foundation Trust is a united initiative of the Karnataka Regional Bishops’ Council
(KRCBC), along with Catholic Think Tank and Karnataka Regional Commission for
Education (KRCE), launched to support youth who aspire to serve the nation through civil
services such as UPSC and other allied public services. While many young students have the
talent and desire to enter these fields, they often face serious challenges such as financial
hardship, lack of access to quality coaching, and limited mentorship. Pratibha Foundation
Trust was established to bridge that gap and ensure these students have the opportunity to
succeed.
This initiative is more than a scholarship programme. It is a mission rooted in faith, one that
believes in forming future leaders who are not only academically strong but also guided by
values of justice, compassion, and service. The Trust provides full support to selected
students, including scholarships for coaching and other related expenses support. In addition
to financial help, students receive ongoing mentorship from experienced civil servants and
professionals, training in interview skills, personality development, and academic
preparation. Most importantly, they are guided morally to ensure that their leadership is
grounded in ethics and a genuine commitment to the common good.
Communities that are still underrepresented in civil services across India. This is not due to a
lack of capability but a lack of opportunities. Pratibha Foundation Trust was created to
change that reality to open doors for bright, determined youth who want to serve society with
integrity and purpose. By equipping them with the right tools, values, and support, we are not
only helping individuals; we are building a stronger, more inclusive public service for the
entire nation.
You can be part of this mission by sponsoring a student, volunteering as a mentor, or helping
spread awareness in your parish, school, diocese or any other possible way. Your support can
change lives and, through them, impact communities and the country at large.
